Well, well, well, it’s finally here!

Drugs Audit launch is upon us and we couldn’t be prouder!

For those of you that are new to us, welcome. The Drugs Audit team consists of a small group of passionate people who are dedicated to making everyday tasks far less painful for our pharmacy partners.

This solution is a real labour of love and dedication. Three years in the making, we have been supporting a small number of NHS Trusts for a few years but in 2020 we decided that in amongst everything that was happening in our NHS, there were processes that we could help improve and save valuable time. We may not have been creating a vaccine but in our own way we wanted to make a difference.

After spending weeks creating a business plan, development plan and resource plan we applied for an Innovate UK grant to help us get our solution to market quicker than we could alone. We were confident in the possibility of our solution but we knew the competition for grants was high. We couldn’t quite believe it when, on Friday 28th August 2020, we got the email to say our grant had been accepted and we could begin project planning immediately! All that effort was totally worth it and our NHS partners were thrilled at the prospect of new and exciting software for their audits!

Fast forward nine months and we are here, with a brand new shiny Drugs Audit platform ready to WOW the clinical pharmacy world and forever make paper drugs audits a thing of the past!

So, this is just the beginning. We are so proud of the product we have delivered and cannot wait to move into the next phase of development, currently being written by our team of developers from a set of requirements provided by our excellent partner trusts.
